- Will be testing raw materials before they use to manufacturer.
- Test incoming materials (USDA and EP)
- Wet chemistry testing : Ph, IR, moisture, ID test
- Will get into HPLC and GC work in the future
- Quicker to train in than other teams at CPI
- More experienced chemist will do basic testing during initial training and will get into GC and LC work depending on what material came in, drafting protocols, and will do side tasks to keep busy
- B.S. chemistry, biochemistry, biology or related life science field (ask if candidate has taken analytical chemistry courses)
- with
- Undergraduate research experience or summer internship experience. Like to see initiative taken outside of class
- or
- 2-3 years of chemistry experience in a GMP environment
- Any experience drafting protocols or doing method verifications and validations is a plus
- Any HPLC and GC experience is a plus Like to see they have troubleshot instrument and worked on new methods without many issues.
