    Job Title: Nurse (LPN/ RN)

    6:30AM-3PM

    *Every Friday new schedule will be sent out for the following two weeks of shift schedule Varies-rotating

    Purpose Of Position:

    Preparing for upcoming studies, service healthy population of patients during clinical trial studies, dosing, watching for side effects to trials, administering trial doses, reporting and investigating side effects

    Should know Electronic charting and computer systems to to document trial doses and effects

    The main function of the nurse is to provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients. This person is responsible for providing simple medical care and treatment to patients.

    The day to day will be based on study amount where they will be working in dosing, oral, IV's and keeping track of any adverse events. With taking blood, there will be refresher in blood draws with the training team.

    This position is would be very appealing for those that want to enhance their career, very extensive training 6-8 weeks and is generally 1:1 training. With this position, they will be given very specific instructions and guidelines to follow, but will have a nurse and med educated on site to help assist in questions and training

    Responsibilities:

    • Collect information from patients to be admitted regarding medical records, medical insurance details, and other pre-treatment formalities.
    • Record health details of patient vital signs such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, etc.
    • Help patients prepare for medical examinations and take samples from patients.
    • Take care of sanitary requirements of patients such as bathing, dressing, and other similar tasks.
    • Observe patients, charting and reporting changes in patients?? conditions, and taking any necessary action.
    • Assemble and use equipment such as catheters, tracheotomy tubes, oxygen suppliers, etc.
    • Collect samples such as blood, urine, etc. and perform routine laboratory tests on samples.
    • Give direct patient care and individual patient needs as directed by the patient care plan.
    • Administer prescription medications and injections to patients under the specific policies and procedures.

    Skills Required:

    • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
    • Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.
    • Basic knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries and diseases.
    • Basic ability to analyze data and accurately document and record results.
    • Understands the Nurse Practice Act and legal consequences of nursing action.

    Qualifications Required:

    • Associates degree in nursing required.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Nursing license required.
    • 2-5 years' experience required.
