    Overview:

    The Director of Resource Family Approval (RFA) programs in the Bay Area is responsible for the oversight of Seneca foster care program and daily operations. The Director is responsible for the hiring, training, and supervision of all staff and foster parents. The Director may supervise any combination of clinicians, support counselors, administrative, and support staff as needed. The Director is responsible for communication with county partners, and other Seneca programs in order to ensure successful youth placements and needed supports are in place.

    Responsibilities:
    • Supervise program supervisors, clinicians, support counselors, and administrative or support staff as needed, and complete annual evaluations
    • Function as team leader and uphold the ideals of the program
    • Hire and train direct care and support staff as needed
    • Supervise the recruitment, selection, and training of foster parents as needed
    • Ensure quality and continuity of program in accordance with Community Care Licensing and all regulatory bodies
    • Supervise intake, assessment, and development of treatment plans for clients referred to program
    • Develop and maintain relationships with referring counties, including attending county meetings as needed
    • Participate in management meetings and assist in defining program goals and strategic initiatives
    • Supervise weekly team meetings and group supervisions as needed
    • Rotate supporting on call needs for crisis support after hours and on weekends
    Qualifications:
    • Master's degree in social work or related field (license preferred) and at least three years' experience in the field of child or family services, two in administrative or managerial positions
      • OR Bachelor's degree in behavioral science and a minimum of five years of experience in the field of child or family services, two years of which have been in administrative or managerial position
    • Prior demonstrated record of providing effective supervision and leadership of diverse program teams
    • Strong writing and communication skills
    • TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
    • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies' insurance policy
    • Proof of up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination or an HR-approved medical/religious exemption
    Schedule:
    • Monday - Friday
      • 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
    • This is a hybrid role - sometimes remote and sometimes on-site
    Benefits:
    • $125,004 - $139,004 per year
      • Actual salary is dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications for the role.
