    As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and safety of vehicles by performing routine maintenance, diagnoses, and repairs according to manufacturer standards. Your skills will help us maintain an outstanding service level for our customers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform thorough inspections and accurate repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
    • Read and interpret repair orders and service manuals to understand repair requirements.
    • Utilize diagnostic tools effectively to troubleshoot and repair modern vehicle systems.
    • Document all work performed, including findings and repairs, while maintaining attention to detail.
    • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and address any issues as they arise.
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are accounted for.
    • Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians to foster skill development.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    1. Education:
    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Completion of a vocational or technical program in automotive or diesel technology preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
    • Experience with medium- or heavy-duty trucks, commercial vehicles, or dealership service operations is a plus.
  • Licenses/Certifications:
    • Valid driver's license required.
    • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or the ability to obtain one is preferred.
    • ASE certification(s) preferred.
    • OEM or dealer-specific certifications are advantageous.
