    Are you ready to join the Imaging Department team at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville, Tennessee? We are looking for a CT Technologist to work part-time during the 2nd shift and weekends.

    • Emergency Department: 24 emergency beds
    • Intensive Care Unit (ICU): 12 ICU beds
    • Labor & Delivery: 12 LDRP suites
    • Med/Surg: 37 beds
    • Surgery: 9 operating room surgery suites
    • Telemetry: 37 beds

    Chief Nursing Officer, Cumberland Medical Center


    Position Summary:

    As a CT Technologist, you will operate high radiation producing equipment to produce quality CT images, maintaining a safe environment at all times.


    Responsibilities:
    • Perform procedures under medical practitioner's orders
    • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images
    • Ensure patient safety and provide necessary instructions
    • Administer medications and contrast media as prescribed
    • Assist radiologists during procedures
    • Coordinate scheduling and patient flow, assist in inventory control
    • Educate and train staff members
    • Stay current in Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • Follow safety standards and participate in quality improvement initiatives
    • Other duties as assigned
    Qualifications:

    Education: Must have successfully completed an accredited educational program


    Experience: Completion of an accredited educational program is required


    Licensure:

    Must have and maintain one of the following certifications:


    Path 1: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R) with ARRT (CT) within 1 year
    Path 2: Nuclear Medicine Technology certification board certified (NMTCB) with ARRT (CT) within one year
    Path 3: Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) with ARRT (CT) within one year
