    We are looking for Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialists to join our dynamic team and provide GOOD HELP to our cardiovascular patients.

    We have a variety of cutting-edge technology, such as iFR with SyncVision from Philips, for the team to provide the best outcome to our patients.

    Assists physician in performance of all cardiovascular procedures, demonstrating competency in all positions (scrub, monitor and float). Analyzes and interprets collected procedural data, provides effective patient care to ages adult (
    Assists in precepting new employees and students to department's organization and function.

    Maintains inventory and charges appropriately for procedures, performs all procedures per protocol, participates in quality assurance and performance improvement programs as requests.

    High school graduate or equivalent.
    Current certification as Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Registry (RCIS) as currently administered by Cardiovascular Credentialing, Inc.
    (Will accept a graduate of an approved accredited program. CV Tech RCIS must demonstrate excellent patient assessment skills, diagnostic skills, patient care skills include IV access, wound care/hemostasis, monitoring interpretation of ECG and Hemodynamics, and appropriate pharmacological knowledge for medication administration.

    Age Appropriate Competency:

    The employee is able to demonstrate general competency in providing Age Appropriate Care as indicated by the ability to plan, provide and evaluate care based on the physiological, psychosocial, intellectual and safety developmental needs of the patient.

    Utilizes appropriate processes and documents in accordance with TJC and other regulatory standards for each patient admitted, transferred, or discharged for the cath lab.

    Function as a qualified team member (QTM) in the administration of moderate sedation under the direct supervision of the physician.

    Provides care in compliance with establish policies, procedures and standards of care.

    Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age, specific needs and to provide the care needed as described in departmental policies and procedures.

    Provides patient care to adults and geriatrics
    Enters patient data in the angiographic archival system and operates/ monitors digital x-ray acquiring system.
    Accurately records in the electronic medical record
    Accurately charges for procedures in electronic medical record.
