    THE POSITION: We're looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Lincoln, NE. This HR Partner collaborates with a global HR team and site leadership to increase employee engagement, support the culture, and help drive business results.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Support and guide site leadership on HR processes and programs
    • Provide coaching, education, and feedback to leaders on employee development, engagement, and leadership effectiveness
    • Prepare reports and identify trends in employee related issues (turnover, performance, etc) and provide recommendations and insight
    • Recommend new procedures and policies for improving employee experience as well as the efficiency of the operations
    • Conduct employee relations investigations with a high degree of integrity and in accordance with HR policy and Federal, State and local laws and regulations
    • Provide counseling and direction to leaders and employees, facilitate communication, and help to resolve conflicts
    • Assist with the creation and implementation of effective training and development programs to meet SOP requirements, skill proficiency and development needs
    • Build credibility and trust with leaders and employees in order to deliver on strategic human resources objectives
    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field; 3+ years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Must have strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
    • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
    • Experience supporting hourly operations employees
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
    • Ability to act with openness, honesty, credibility, respect and service to drive NEOGEN's Pillars of Trust
