- Assess the delivery of nursing care and identify problems through patient care rounds in order to assure the provision of quality care.
- Collaborates with team members for nursing care planning and modifications/revisions of care plan.

- Evaluates the team's performance related to patient care delivery and to implementation of standards, policies and procedures in a timely manner.
- Interprets and clarifies nursing service goals, policies, and procedures to nursing personnel and members of other services. Assures compliance with code cart checks, Accuchecks, quality controls and safety monitors.
- Assures that the attending physician and other disciplines receive adequate information regarding the patient's condition from the nursing staff.

- Consistently keeps all management informed of events, changes in patient's condition and family/visitor concerns.

- Current Texas Registered Nurse License.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in Hospital Setting
- 2+Yrs. Leadership/Supervisor experience
- BLS, ACLS at time of hire
- PALS certification time of hire or within thirty (30) days of hire.
- Microsoft Office, Outlook intermediate experience
- BSN
- Current Texas Registered Nurse License.

JOB SUMMARY
The House Supervisor will direct Nursing care by delegating, coordinating, collaborating, and prioritizing hospital wide needs. The incumbent will assess patient needs, plan, implement and evaluate care based on priorities and specific patient care outcomes.
Together with the Nursing Care Teams, the House Supervisor will implement standards of care/practices for nursing department. Above all, the House Supervisor will take the initiative to improve all aspects of quality patient care while promoting the mission and vision of the hospital.
