*Job Summary*: Responsible for diagnosing, maintaining and repairing customer vehicles.


Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Perform inspections, diagnoses, maintenance, and repairs on customer vehicles following established company policy and procedures.

Identify problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment.

Communicate and explain technical aspects of repairs and issues to customer when asked by Service Advisor/Manager.

Complete service inspections supporting customers requested service while documenting the manufacturer specifications/tolerances, which will support the Service Advisor/Manager in communicating conditions to the customer.

Test the functionality of parts and systems.

Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Job Experience, Education, and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Associate degree program in auto maintenance and repair preferred.

Minimum of three years of automotive and engine repair experience or auto mechanic training.

ASE certifications.

Valid PA inspection and emissions licenses, and Mobile Refrigeration Certification (609c)

Valid drivers license.

Ability to bend, stoop kneel and lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

Ability to read, interpret and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records.

Ability to use diagnostic equipment including various types of technology.

Able to work independently and prioritize tasks.

Ability to maintain a professional appearance. Handle stressful situations in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service.
