- Following all Southwestern Ambulatory Surgery Center policies and procedures
- Adhering to infection control guidelines, including proper hygiene practices and safety protocols
- Maintaining patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPPA regulations
- Assisting the dentist in various tasks and procedures
- Preparing equipment for dental procedures and ensuring cost-effective maintenance of supplies
- Handling inventory and reporting any equipment issues promptly
- Developing x-rays and equipment maintenance
- Adhering to facility policies and infection control practices
- Being available as needed for patient care even outside regular hours
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an approved Dental Assistant course (preferred)
- State-mandated background checks
- Current BLS certification (renewed every two years)
