    Job Overview:

    The Assistant Child Nutrition Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Cafeteria Manager in managing daily operations across multiple campuses. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As an Assistant Child Nutrition Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Ensure accurate completion of paperwork and records.
    • Participate in meal preparation and presentation.
    • Supervise and train cafeteria staff as needed.
    • Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and teachers to ensure seamless operations.
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.

    Required Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Food manager certification necessary.
    • Basic math and money handling skills required.
    • Previous experience in food preparation and handling money preferred.

    Working Conditions:

    • Work in a commercial kitchen environment with exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, and noise levels.
    • Must wear a uniform and maintain personal hygiene standards at all times.
