    Construction Project Manager – Channeling Excellence in Chandler, Arizona

    Embark on a dynamic journey as a Structural Steel Project Manager in Chandler, Arizona Lead a talented team while overseeing diverse administrative functions, ensuring seamless project execution, and driving the success of our construction endeavors.

    Your Role in the Construction Landscape:

    • Strategic Project Oversight: Manage administrative tasks supporting construction projects, driving the overall budget and schedule adherence while exceeding client expectations. Will manage Assistant Project Managers (APM) and Project Engineers and any other office worker supporting the project. Experience managing in-house and 3rd party detailers.
    • Blueprint Maestro: Utilize your strong construction background to comprehend and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts, ensuring precision in project scope and deliverables. Must possess a strong background in Request for Information RFI and work with PE and or APM to ensure RFI content is clear, concise and meets the needs of the project. Help escalate hot RFIs and/or facilitate complicated or Dynamic RFIs
    • Budgetary Wizardry: Drive project estimates, manage budgets, and forecast staffing needs, fostering effective communication to ensure superintendent accountability.
    • Design and Detail Expert: Become an expert in project scope, overseeing design changes, and managing the intricate details of design-build contracts, optimizing constructability for cost-effective solutions.
    • Develop strategic plans for material delivery, liaising effectively with the fabrication team to ensure timely project support.
    • Proactive Problem Solver: Navigate the Request for Information (RFI) process, facilitate complex RFIs, and oversee submittal schedules, ensuring clear communication and meeting project deadlines.
    • Collaborative Negotiator: Solicit, assess, and manage subcontractors and vendors, demonstrating expertise in contract negotiations and change management.

    Your Construction Credentials:

    • Educational Excellence: A bachelor's degree in a construction/technical field preferred, coupled with three years of structural steel experience as an Assistant Project Manager in large-scale construction projects.
    • Construction Command: Demonstrated proficiency in all phases of building construction, adeptness in contract negotiations, and a keen eye for detail.
    • Tech-Savvy Mastery: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, complemented by experience in Navisworks, Trimble, Bluebeam, Vista, or Tekla, empowering seamless project management.
    • Dynamic Physicality: Embrace field walks, adapting to varying weather conditions, occasional harness use, and the agility to lift and maneuver as required on-site.
