    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with outpatient lymphedema experience for a day shift position requiring current IL licensure and BLS certification.

    Responsibilities
    Work in an acute care Level II Trauma center
    Position is in the outpatient OT department
    Day shifts available as 4x10 or 5x8 hour schedules, typically from 8:00 to 16:30
    Rotating weekend coverage every 6 weeks
    May float within the hospital or to affiliated facilities as needed
    Cerner EMR is used and experience with Cerner is required
    Gray scrubs or professional business casual attire required
    Provide outpatient occupational therapy with a focus on lymphedema treatment
    First-time travelers are welcome to apply
    Candidates must be able to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
    Requested time off is ideally limited to 5 days, with more requiring facility approval
    No radius restriction for local candidates
    Former PERM or PRN employees must have a 12-month gap before returning as a traveler
    Free parking permit will be provided and completed during orientation
    Virtual orientation modules must be completed on the first day

    Requirements
    Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license in hand required for consideration
    BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross required
    NBCOT certification required
    Minimum 1 year of OT experience required
    Lymphedema experience required
    Ability to float to other areas of the hospital or affiliated sites as needed
    License required if applicable
