    Job Description


    Looking for a therapist who believes in making therapy interactive and engaging for clients. At Hafkin and Associates, PLLC, we love taking our sessions outdoors, especially on hiking trails in the DMV area. If you share our passion for unconventional therapy approaches, you might be the perfect fit for us. This position offers the flexibility of part-time or full-time hours and includes clinical social work supervision. We welcome applications from provisionally licensed therapists who are eager to embrace this unique therapeutic style.

    Requirements:
    • Must hold a master's degree in behavioral sciences or related fields and be working towards licensure
    • Prefer candidates with clinical licensure (LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP, etc.)
    • Experience with diagnosing, treatment planning, and case notes
    • Familiarity with working with adolescents and adults
    • Interest in wilderness therapy and outdoor education, open to conducting sessions both online and outdoors
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Bilingual abilities are a plus
    • Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries with clients
    • Comfortable working with a diverse client base
    • Clear criminal background check

    Responsibilities:
    • Assess mental health conditions, develop treatment plans, and maintain detailed documentation
    • Use creativity in interventions to help clients achieve their goals
    • Complete thorough documentation after each session
    • Participate in regular individual supervision sessions

    Flexible Work Schedule:
    • Set your own schedule between 6:00 am to 9:00 pm, Monday to Sunday
    • Aim for 20 hours per week, primarily referral-based
