    Description
    Plaintiff's employment law practice seeks associate. Our practice is growing, and we'd like to find an independent-minded "go-getter" to help continue the growth. This is not a research position. The associate will perform substantive work and soon would be responsible for the day to day advancement of their own cases. The job includes client contact, drafting complaints, discovery, and law and motion, defending depositions and any additional tasks the associate wishes to take on.

    The new associate will receive as much mentorship as needed.

    Prior employment law experience is a plus, but not required. 1-3 year's of experience, but we are willing to consider a candidate awaiting bar results, as long as the candidate can work while awaiting bar exam results.

    We're looking to hire as soon as possible. The salary will depend on experience. Benefits include annual bonus, health, dental, vision, and bar dues.

    We are a Pasadena-based employment law firm focused on protecting the rights of employees in California. Our growing practice is currently seeking *two Associate Attorneys* who are passionate about advocacy and ready to take on meaningful responsibility from day one.

    *What We Offer:*

    * A collaborative environment with *significant day-to-day case responsibilities*
    * A chance to work directly on cases involving *wrongful termination, workplace retaliation, whistleblower claims*, and *discrimination* (including disability, age, pregnancy) and Class Action/PAGA claims.
    * We have taken on three child sex abuse cases. These are difficult, but rewarding cases. A previous child sex abuse case settled in 2024 for $4.5M.

    *What We're Looking For:*

    * Admission to the California Bar, or awaiting bar results
    * Strong legal research and writing skills.
    * A demonstrated interest or background in employment and labor law
    * Ability to manage deadlines, communicate effectively, and work independently
    * Someone who can tackle discovery and law and motion, including Oppositions to MSJ, mediation briefs, and Motions to Compel discovery/documentss
