    What is the role:


    As an E-Space Supply Manager, you will play a key role within the Supplier Management team, overseeing the implementation of procurement strategies focused on achieving high efficiency and cost effectiveness.

    You will have a strong ability to negotiate with suppliers and manufacturers and you will be instrumental in managing lead times within a diverse supplier network.

    You will also be involved with planning activities, controlling stock levels and the use of SAP to meet project requirements.

    This position will report to the Production & Quality Manager and will work closely with the Manufacturing and Designs teams.

    This role is based in our Saratoga, California office.

    What you will do:
    Use our SAP MRP system for generating purchase orders and stock control
    Successfully negotiate with suppliers of products, materials and services to achieve cost savings and/or mitigate price

    increases
    Expedite purchase orders and deliveries to ensure on time availability of components and products
    Receive and book goods of completed orders and deliveries
    Return goods of products or components that are not

    to specification
    Arrange and attend weekly Open Orders (OPOR) meeting with suppliers
    Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy without affecting production, including annual inventory count
    Manage the performance and relationships with our suppliers
    Monitor supplier KPIs (OTD, OTIF) and strive to make improvements
    Work alongside our Design and Manufacturing teams to

    understand purchasing requirements
    Prototype kit checking
    Maintain End-of-Life (EOL) / Product Change Notices (PCN) / Material Declarations of parts within the SAP MRP system
    Support the selection and auditing of suppliers
    What you will bring to this role:

    College degree in Supply Chain Management or similar technical field
    5-7 years purchasing or supply chain experience within the Aerospace, Defense or Telecom industries
    Knowledge of MRP systems and general planning / purchasing
    Basic understanding of electronic components, PCBs, BOM, engineering drawings and general manufacturing techniques
    Experience in auditing of suppliers
    Excellent communications skills
    An ability to plan and prioritize your workload
    Strong depth and focus on details
    Familiar with Export Compliance

    Bonus points:
    Advanced technical degree or MBA desired
    10 – 12+ years purchasing or supply chain experience within the Aerospace, Defense or Telecom industries
    Experience with the SAP for production planning / purchasing / shipping
    General appreciation of electronic components, fabrication drawings and PCBs
    Experience in negotiating contracts
    $50,000 - $170,000 a year


    The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position in question, which is based on market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change.

    Individual pay is based on location, skills and expertise, depth of relevant experience, and other relevant factors.
