Job Description:
Are you a master builder who can oversee a construction project from start to finish? Do you have a passion for turning architectural designs into reality? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you As a Project Manager - Civil Construction at PSC Construction, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing various civil construction projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans and schedules, and monitor progress to ensure timelines are met.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage project budgets and expenses to ensure profitability.
- Oversee quality control and safety measures on construction sites.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
- Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on project status.
- Ensure all regulatory requirements and building codes are adhered to.
- Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred but not required
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction project management
- Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and schedules
- Knowledge of excavation, trenching, shoring, and utility installation practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- No criminal misdemeanors in the last 5 years or criminal felonies in the last 7 years
- Proficiency with project management software (ex: Bluebeam/Monday) and Microsoft Office
