Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney to become a part of our team in personal injury/negligence defense litigation with bar admission in New York State and Federal Court(s).
Located in Melville, NY; we offer excellent benefits, including 401K and medical, and a casual office environment.
Responsibilities will require working on all aspects of defending personal injury litigation cases including the preparing of Pleadings, Discovery Responses, and conducting of Depositions.
The candidate will have 3+ years experience in bodily injury defense, PIP/subrogation defense, SIU Fraud and/or Affirmative Defense (Insurance Fraud).
Salary range $125,000 - $135,000 (BI/PIP$); $135,000 -$145,000 (SIU Fraud) and $140,000 - $160,000 (DJ Actions/ Insurance Fraud).
Salary dependent upon the type of defense work practiced, years of experience and Bar/Federal Court admissions.
Admission to NJ bar a plus.
