Busy, patient-focused dental practice in the area is seeking an experienced Dental Front Office Coordinator/Receptionist to join our friendly team
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and handle check-in/check-out processes efficiently
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments via phone, email, and in-person
- Answer multi-line phones with excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Verify dental insurance benefits, file insurance claims, and follow up on outstanding claims
- Process payments, present treatment plans, and handle financial arrangements
- Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic charts
- Assist with other administrative tasks to keep the office running smoothly
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a dental front office or similar role
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in dental coding (CDT/ADA codes) and billing processes
- Solid understanding of dental insurance verification, claims submission, and pre-authorizations
- Outstanding phone skills — friendly, clear, professional, and able to handle inquiries courteously
- Excellent customer service attitude and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with dental practice management software Dentrix, a plus
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and team player
