Job Description Seeking a Linux System Admin to work in an agile and fast paced development environment supporting analysts whose mission is to solve unique and challenging intelligence problems for special operationsYou will be part of a multi-disciplinary team and have the unique opportunity to interact directly with analysts and other technologists to ensure applications and tools meet the needs of the customer
The ideal candidate is creative and driven, passionate about technology, and able to learn quickly
Additionally, candidate must be willing to work in shift rotation basis to support 24/7 customer's missions
You will work with a team of forward-thinking software engineers to build novel solutions for challenging problems for both US Government and industry customers centered on the development of applications and systems focused on space object, missile tracking and developing interfaces and data translations between disparate systems
What you'll do day-to-day (with your colleagues): Provide exceptional customer support for our clients (e.g.
, end users, mission planners) around the clock to support mission essential operations Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures Maintain and enhance existing custom applications Troubleshoot technical issues and formulate approach for solutions Support migration activities into cloud environments Modernize workflows and interfaces, customizing to include new mission areas and topics Minimum requirements:
Current/active TS/SCI clearance Willingness to work 100% in a SCIF environment via various shifts to provide 24/7 support to Customer's mission Strong listening, written and oral communication skills Must be a highly motivated, self-driven team player who can interact well with others and advise/consult with our team members and customers on software development related issues
Efficient knowledge of Windows 10, PCs (hardware and software), MS Office Applications Experience developing software using a variety of languages (e.g., Java) Experience with software engineering tools (i.e.
, Git/Subversion, IDE) Familiarity with the Agile development process and tools Ability to work in a geographically dispersed, collaborative team environment Learn new methodologies on the job that can contribute to the missionBachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related field or 4-7 years of experience
