    General Manager Upscale Restaurant

    $90,000 - $110,000

    This well-loved full-service upscale restaurant is looking for an experienced General Manager, offering excellent benefits, salary, and opportunity for growth.

    Your Role with the Company:

    The General Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. Primary duties include:

    • Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurants recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards
    • Understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs
    • Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures
    • Continually strive to develop staff in all areas and professional development
    • Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests
    • Oversee and execute employee hiring, training, evaluations, and terminations
    • Review and maintain financial reports, ensuring restaurant operates within budget guidelines

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 4+ years as a General Manger with a high volume ($8M+) upscale/fine dining restaurant
    • Strong leadership skills, passionate about restaurants and hospitality
    • Extensive experience and knowledge of POS systems, scheduling, team management, and food safety
    • Demonstrate the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
    • Strong experience in the management of Standard Operating Procedures
