• Develop, qualify, and implement PVD Coating production processes.
• Create and optimize the coating processes used in our round tools' product offering including quality control measures.
• Support coating production operations by troubleshooting equipment or processes related to issues and provide training to employees.
• Develop Preventive maintenance program for coating equipment from OEM specifications
• Ensure process documentation is in place, including set-ups, manufacturing instructions, standard operating procedures, and quality control documentation.
• Support and lead strategic projects to bring advanced manufacturing capabilities coating process by new or modern upgrades of coating equipment.
• Develop and maintain work instructions to ensure repeatability.
• Implement quality management and continuous improvement programs for the PVD Coating process.
• Trouble shooting and maintenance responsibilities for the Coating department.
• Train and develop employees in coating knowledge and process understanding.
• Project leader, technical leader & specialist for the full Coating department.

  Responsibilities
  
  As a Manufacturing Engineer-Coating Specialist, you are responsible for the start-up of coating operation in Greer, S.C. You will be instrumental in the start-up of the coating department which will require you to learn all aspects of the coating process including engineering, maintenance, set up, tool-handling, pre-treatment, post-treatment and process flow. Training for this position will require travel both domestically and international. Travel to Germany for up to 4 weeks for training is required. As the Manufacturing Engineer- Coating Specialist you will be responsible for bringing coating process knowledge from Germany to the US and implementing in the Greer Coating department. Once process is established, you will be responsible for training other employees in the coating department as we expand our PVD coating capabilities.
