    Shifts:

    • We ask that you are flexible to work any shift, weekends, overtime and holidays
    • Schedule assignment after the Training and Orientation Period is a 2-2-3 schedule. Shift will be 6pm-6am

    Job Description:

    Come Make More Moments of Goodness with us as a Bulkster/Spotter

    The Hershey Company Robinson plant is a non-union plant producing products such as PayDay, Heath, Skor, Milk Duds, Whoppers, and Reese's Pieces in a high-speed complex environment. The Bulkster/Spotter position is responsible to maneuver trucks and trailers throughout the lot and offsite warehouse in addition to moving and unloading railcars consisting of bulk ingredients in and out of staging areas.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Comply with DOT regulations including truck weights and verification process
    • Obtain and maintain CDL requirements
    • Comply with Food Defense and Food Safety practices
    • Maintaining product inventory levels
    • Review Trailor reports for incoming deliveries
    • Communicate with dispatch and Inventory Planners on material need
    • Clean, inspect and lubricate equipment as part of our Autonomous Maintenance program
    • Observe safety procedures
    • Observe Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
    • Observe good housekeeping practices
    • Complete safety and quality checks and associated daily production paperwork
    • Fork truck license required

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • Must possess a High School diploma/GED
    • Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English
    • Must be flexible to work any shift - 1st / 2nd / 3rd (8, 10 or 12 hour shifts)
    • Must be available to work weekends, holidays and overtime
    • Must be able to lift up to 35-50 lbs
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States
    • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions, decimals, and whole numbers.
    • Basic computer skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Manufacturing / Food manufacturing with a minimum of 2 years experience is preferred
    • Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is preferred
    • Experience with Safe Quality Food (SQF) practices is preferred
    • Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is preferred
    • Experience with Autonomous Maintenance (AM) is preferred
    • Experience with Single-Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) / quick change-over process is preferred
    • Experience with Continuous Improvement methodology is preferred
    • Class A CDL
