**Description**
**POSITION SUMMARY:**
Responsible for assisting with maintaining day-to-day computer operations of Wanzek Construction, in addition to long-term planning and development of computer operations.
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:**
Demonstrate respect through considerate and courteous efforts with staff and customers, integrity when approaching all situations with sound moral principle, and the responsibility to distinguish between right and wrong, readily assume obligations and accountability while providing dependable and thorough service
Regular cleaning and maintenance of computer equipment
Answer phones and assist users with equipment, network and software questions
Help maintain phone and voicemail system
Install hardware and software on desktop systems
Report and communicate errors to the IT Manager
Assume on call duties on scheduled rotation
Manage cell phones and cell phone plan
Maintain IT asset inventory
Update work stations
Move and setup workstations
First level user support troubleshooting
Train end user on use of systems and programs
Assist in office building maintenance and security issues
CAT5 and low voltage cabling projects
Assist in managing current and future network infrastructure
All other duties as assigned by the IT Manager
**EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:**
Associate's degree (A A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or six months to one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with SharePoint desired.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:**
Take reasonable care of your own and others health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward Wanzeks Zero Injury principles
Read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations
Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
