**Description**
**1. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
a). Unload shipments from incoming trucks and put in designated areas. Check count of incoming
shipments.
b). Load trucks with the proper finished product. Check amounts of product as loading.
c). Ability to operate propane and electric forklifts in a fast paced and potentially stressful environment.
d). Must be able to operate a computer.
e). Complete daily forklift inspection and preventative maintenance work.
f). Perform other activities as directed by supervision.
g). Represents the company in a positive manner.
h). Adheres to written company policies, standard operating procedures and safety requirements as
defined by Corporate and Plant Management.
i). Position backup will be any Qualified Fork Lift operator, that has received Radio Frequency (RF)
training.
**2. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:**
a). High School Diploma or equivalent.
b). Basic knowledge and experience of computer functions.
b). Must have forklift experience and have operated a forklift within the last 6 months.
c). Experience in the operation of propane, electric and stand-up forklifts in a fast paced and highly
stressful environment
**3. LANGUAGE & MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:**
Must have the ability to read, comprehend, correspond and perform basic mathematical functions. The
expectations include but are not limited to the ability to write simple correspondence, effectively present
information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the
organization, in English. Add, subtract, multiply and divide.
**4. REASONING ABILITY:**
a). Ability to apply creative problem solving techniques to various situations.
b). Ability to make sound decisions when presented with problems and questions.
c). Ability to keep record and information in an organized and easily understandable fashion.
**5. OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:**
a). Ability to operate machinery preferred.
b). Ability to do basic mechanical adjustments is essential.
**6. SAFETY/GMP:**
Safety equipment required on the job while in production environment: Safety glasses, slip resistant shoes,
ear plugs, gloves, hairnet, and beard net (if applicable).
**7. PHYSICAL:**
a). The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to

b). While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand. The associate is
occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, turn and reach.
c). An associate may occasionally lift and/or move cases with a weight range of 26 to 60 pounds.
**8. WORK ENVIRONMENT:**
a). While performing the duties of this job, the associate occasionally works near moving mechanical parts
and is occasionally exposed to wet, humid conditions and/or cold depending on season.
b). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
