    Description
  • The Chief Internal Auditor serves in an advisory capacity to the Audit Committee, board, and senior management.
  • The Chief Internal Auditor is also responsible for management of the Bank's SOX program.
  • The Chief Internal Auditor, along with the Audit Managers and the SOX Compliance Manager, are responsible for developing, managing, and mentoring all members of the Internal Audit and SOX staff.
  • The Chief Internal Auditor effectively manages the Internal Audit and SOX activity to ensure it adds value to the organization and is in compliance with applicable bank policies and procedures and applicable laws.
  • Obtains competent advice and assistance to resolve issues if the Internal Audit staff lacks the knowledge, skills, or other competencies needed to perform all or part of the audit activity.
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation preferred.
