    Job Title:
    Radiation Oncology Specialist


    Overview:


    Join UP Health System Marquette as a Radiation Oncology Specialist and play a vital role in delivering advanced cancer care to patients in a collaborative, hospital-attached clinic environment.

    This position offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated multidisciplinary team utilizing state-of-the-art technology, including the Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator.

    Required Skills:
    Valid radiation oncology certification and licensure
    Proven experience with linear accelerators, particularly Varian TrueBeam systems
    Strong knowledge of radiation therapy planning and treatment protocols
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
    Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety


    Nice to Have Skills:
    Experience with emerging radiation treatment modalities
    Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
    Prior experience in a hospital-based oncology setting
    Additional certifications in oncology or related fields


    Preferred Education and Experience:
    Medical degree with specialization in radiation oncology
    Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in radiation oncology practice
    Continued professional development in oncology treatments


    Other Requirements:
    Availability to start on 02/11/2026, including orientation and scheduled shifts
    Ability to work flexible hours including weekend and overnight shifts as required
    Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
    Willingness to participate in on-call rotations
