- Create/Update CNC programs for turret punch presses and laser cutting machines.
- Improve material utilization.
- Ability to create/modify CAD drawings.
- Read, understand and comprehend basic blueprints and drawings.
- Ability and willingness to learn new software.
- Sense of urgency. This is a job tied closely to production, requiring quick implementation of new product designs and changes to existing designs.
- Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to investigate an issue and determine the best course of action.
- Excellent work ethic, ability to adapt, multi-task, and work within a group or solo.
- Must be well organized.
- Experience with Amada AP100 software is desirable, but not required.
- Knowledge of Amada turrets and lasers is desirable, but not required.
- Computer skills and familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks or AutoCAD) are required.
