Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field or equivalent
- At least five (5) years of accounting or finance experience in a similar role
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in grants accounting

Responsibilities:

Thorough understanding of financial ERP systems
Experience with NetSuite and/or other accounting software preferred
Familiarity with GAAP and Uniform Guidance Regulations application
Knowledge of preparing journal entries, basic balance sheet account reconciliation, and account analysis
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Power Point, Word and Adobe Acrobat
Handling all receipts processing in the accounting system, ensuring proper coding and classification with other team members
Timely booking of journal entries for monthly closing along with billings and related reports
Processing monthly invoice for WIC, reconciling data and processing invoices in the accounting system
Preparing monthly general ledger reconciliation for suspense or unallocated account
Providing requested documents and reports regarding receipts for informed decision-making
Evaluating existing practices, suggesting and implementing improvements
Conducting ad hoc analysis and projects as delegated
Knowledgeable in processing daily receipts and posting in the accounting system
Collaborating effectively within a team and autonomously, with minimal supervision
Performing well under pressure, meeting multiple deadlines, and offering training to team members
Interacting professionally and courteously, with cooperative problem-solving skills
Flexibility to work varying shifts
Supporting department members with additional tasks to meet monthly and audit reporting needs

Annual Salary:
Up to $75,000
