- Provide therapeutic services to patients and their families and provide psychosocial educational materials as deemed appropriate.
- Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members including external partners to assess needs and coordinate services for patients and their families by providing evaluation/treatment in the form of individual, martial, family and group therapy.
- Assess, evaluate and counsel patients to develop clinical treatment plan along with diagnosis of psychosocial disorders and completes required documentation and paperwork in a timely manner.
- Coordinate services with other providers both internal and external.
- Demonstrates the knowledge of and sensitivity to a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
- Perform short term counseling and crisis intervention, as necessary.
- Provide services within the scope of practice established by respective licensing Board.
- Demonstrates an ability to set priorities in directing appropriate patient care, functions in an organized and time conscious manner and maintains complete accountability for actions taken.
- Enhances professional growth and development through participation in education programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops.
- Maintain appropriate license by complete CE requirements and renewal of license.
- Attends meetings as required and performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
- Actively supports and promotes adherence to the policies and procedures of the Hospital and Social Services as outlined in policy and procedures.
