    Description

    The Judge Group is seeking a Plant Manager with Food or Chemical manufacturing (mixing and batching) in the Ottawa, IL area.

    COMPENSATION: 140k to 165k plus bonus

    RELOCATION: Provided for the right candidate

    CITIZENSHIP: Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder

    WORKSITE: Onsite

    MUST HAVE: Bachelors Degree (Engineering preferred but not required)

    MUST HAVE: Experience in food or chemical manufacturing (mixing and batching)

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Oversee all plant activities (Manufacturing, Maintenance, Facilities, Compliance, Capital Projects)

    Ensure plant is running at maximum efficiency

    Develop and manage manufacturing budgets (Labor, Materials, Overhead - capital budgets)

    Maintain quality standards

    Increase productivity and decrease costs

    Conduct investigations into product loss during production

    Implement new manufacturing technologies

    Review scheduling of all production employees

    Recruit and manage manufacturing personnel

    Lead the continuous improvement efforts

    Develop yearly budgets with VP Operations

    Work closely with the Executive Team and key members

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    Bachelors degree (Engineering preferred)

    7+ years of experience in a food or chemical manufacturing (mixing and batching) environment
