We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in construction projects, with a solid understanding of reading and interpreting drawings, project specifications, and coordinating various trades. The primary responsibility of the Construction Project Coordinator will be to ensure the smooth execution of construction projects by effectively coordinating activities between different trades and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Review architectural, structural, and engineering drawings to understand project requirements, dimensions, and specifications.
Analyze project specifications to grasp the quality standards, materials, and methods required for construction.
Coordinate activities between various trades involved in construction projects, including but not limited to carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians.
Have a comprehensive understanding of the means and methods involved in construction tasks, including scheduling, sequencing, and execution of activities.
Facilitate effective communication between project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Identify potential issues or conflicts in construction plans and propose solutions to ensure project progress and quality.
Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
