JOB DESCRIPTION

HVAC/Mechanical Engineer -Candidates will be responsible for the complete performance of mechanical engineering by designing
HVAC systems that fit the need of the project and coordination with multiple disciplines to assure excellent engineering practices.

Candidates should have the following:
Minimum 5+ years of experience designing
HVAC systems.
Knowledge of REVIT and BIM
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.

Job Skills & Qualifications Required Experience with 3D Modeling programs such as AutoCAD & Revit.
Building and Energy code and standard requirements
LEED standards and Energy Star standards

HVAC specification preparations
Construction administration
Perform construction site inspections to review installation of systems and generate reports.
Excellent oral and written communication skills

HVAC system surveys
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Punctual and able to meet deadlines.

A full-service consulting firm with approximately 40 employees with offices in Hanover MA and Pawtucket RI.

HVAC, electric, communications, security, AV, heating, ventilation, plumbing, fire protection, fire alarm and energy management systems.

The firm was founded in 1988 to provide clients with multi-disciplinary engineering services from conceptual design through construction administration.

Our clients include architects, building owners and developers with a wide array of projects from large residential complexes to university buildings, cultural centers, labs, office buildings, restaurants and warehouses.

While an hourly range is posted for this position, an eventual hourly rate is determined by a comprehensive salary analysis which considers multiple factors including but not limited to: job-related knowledge, skills and qualifications, education and experience as compared to others in the organization doing substantially similar work, if applicable, and market and business considerations.
