Job Summary

A day porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of assigned work sites. Ensures premises are clean, safe, and welcoming for occupants, employees, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, dust surfaces, and wipe down fixtures.
• Restocking Supplies: Monitor and restock restroom supplies, refilling hand hygiene product dispensers as needed.
• Floor Care: Maintain cleanliness and appearance of hard floors, carpets, and rugs.
• Safety and Security: Identify hazards, address issues, and maintain open communication with supervisors and team members.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, use personal protective equipment, and maintain compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Customer Service: Provide courteous assistance to building occupants, visitors, and colleagues.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 year experience as a Janitor, preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements

The employee must be able to sit, walk, and use hands to perform duties. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required.
