- You will serve as Scientist for the radiation safety program administrated by the Safety branch.
- You will work with other senior safety professionals and management to ensure the Command's ionizing radiation safety program is compliant with all applicable regulations and Naval Radioactive Materials Permits (NRMPs).
- You will assist in the development, and coordinates training and orientation programs, for all individuals potentially exposed to ionizing radiation.
- You may maintain an inventory of radioactive materials and their location; be responsible for ensuring sources are protected from loss or unauthorized use; ensure that appropriate operating procedures are being followed
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
