Description

The Phone Banker for The Voter Education Project will play a crucial role in reaching out to potential supporters, donors, or constituents through phone calls.

The main objective for the Phone Banker will be to effectively communicate the campaign's message, gather support, and maintain accurate records of interactions.

• Phone bankers are expected to make at least 30 calls an hour to donors.
• Making donor outreach calls to voters.
• Engage donors in respectful and informative conversations about our candidate and their campaign.
• Track and document donor interactions and responses in MiniVAN and/or CallHub.
• Detailed and regular reporting of activities and results.
• Attending a scheduled orientation meeting and training led by the Project Manager.

• Ability to hit the ground running - this is a short-term, aggressively paced assignment.
• The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, able and willing to work long hours, and importantly, be skilled in customer engagement.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and creatively problem-solve.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team player.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience in a customer-facing role.
• Comfortable speaking on the phone for extended periods and navigating phone scripts.

• Ability to work independently and in team settings.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Access to reliable transportation, cell phone, and laptop.
