    Senior Manager, Tax Planning


    Location:
    Denver, CO; hybrid with a couple of days a week in the office.

    Sponsorship is not available for this position

    Will be responsible for effectively supporting global tax planning.

    This position will report to the SVP, Tax Planning and will work closely with others in the tax organization and with business partners to ensure appropriate operational planning is optimally executed and changes in tax law are appropriately addressed.

    The ideal candidate will have demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, sound judgment and strong work ethic in previous positions, and will have the ability to grow into a leadership role within the organization.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Effectively manage multiple planning projects and deliver results.

    Includes managing due dates and working with cross-functional groups to obtain facts and perform analyses to optimize and support Oracle's and acquired entities' positions.


    Build rapport with internal colleagues and external advisors, establish successful working relationships, and facilitate effective discussions with team members, advisors, and business colleagues to effectively support Oracle and acquired entity tax operations and planning.

    Engage in rigorous, logical analyses to fully understand issues, positions, relevant support, and alternatives.

    Includes collecting and analyzing data, tax rules and other information to support or refute a position, reviewing alternative positions/support, and providing recommendations.


    Organize and summarize information in a clear, concise manner, specifically tailored for the intended audience, both within the tax department and among business colleagues.

    Includes drafting internal memos, as well as preparing supporting analyses and models.


    Work with global teams across all lines of business to follow agreed tax department processes and to identify and implement process improvements.


    Exhibit sense of overall responsibility for projects/tasks and involve appropriate internal/external team members and senior management in the planning process at the proper time to successfully complete each project/task.
