- Assists the Head Men's Basketball Coach with practice planning and scheduling
- Works in conjunction with the Head Basketball Coach and Director of Athletics to create a competitive schedule.
- Assists in planning of team meetings, study sessions, and required events.
- Works with Head Men's Basketball coach and Director of Athletics on an effective social media and marketing plan.
- Creates opportunities for the team to gain a visible presence in the Fairmont/Marion Co. community and surrounding counties.
- Recruits student-athletes to compete at the Division II level.
- Monitors academic progress of student-athletes.
- Adheres to and ensures compliance with all University, Conference and NCAA rules, regulations and policies.
- Takes an active role in private giving to generate supplemental revenue for the program.
- Assists with player development and game day scouting, organization, and in-game assignments prescribed by the Head Coach.
