    Description
    As a Controls Engineer specializing in refrigeration systems, you'll spearhead the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge control systems. Your role will involve leveraging your expertise in PLC software, control design, and electrical engineering to ensure optimal performance.

    From creating comprehensive FAT documents to resolving technical issues and delivering top-notch customer service, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence.

    Additionally, you'll be instrumental in generating electrical drawings and programming Allen Bradley software to streamline processes.


    Responsibilities:
    Design control systems tailored to industrial refrigeration systems, adhering to customer or internal specifications.

    Generate meticulous electrical and control design documents, including layouts, wiring diagrams, and system architecture, based on P&ID.Conduct thorough reviews of electrical drawings to ensure accuracy.

    Develop comprehensive FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) documents to guarantee system functionality.
    Craft and refine PLC and HMI software to meet evolving requirements, both for new and existing systems.
    Collaborate closely with customers to seamlessly integrate PLC software with their DCS/SCADA systems.
    Offer dedicated customer support for ongoing installations, resolving any technical issues promptly.
    Provide crucial assistance during commissioning and startup activities at customer sites when required.
    Fulfill any additional duties as assigned by management.


    Requirements:
    Proficiency in Allen Bradley programming software, encompassing Studio5000 PLC programming and FactoryTalk HMI programming.
    Familiarity with CodeSys, Siemens TIA Portal, and Ignition software is advantageous.
    Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical is preferred.
    Understanding of Modbus and Ethernet/IP communication protocols.
    Basic proficiency in IP network configuration.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective collaboration.
    Demonstrated ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
    Proactive, positive attitude with a self-motivated approach to tasks.
    Willingness to travel up to 30% annually.


    Education and Experience:
    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent technical discipline with relevant experience.
    Prior experience in controls engineering within the industrial refrigeration sector is desirable.
    Familiarity with modern revision control systems like git and Copia is advantageous.

    Capable of lifting weights up to 15 pounds occasionally.
    Availability for travel, constituting up to 30% of working time.
