- Perform preanesthetic assessments and evaluations of patients
- Develop and implement anesthetic plans based on patient needs and surgical requirements
- Administer anesthesia during surgical procedures, monitoring patient vital signs and adjusting anesthesia levels as necessary
- Manage airway and ventilation during surgery
- Provide postanesthetic care, including pain management and monitoring of recovery
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document all anesthesiarelated care accurately and thoroughly
- Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Experience working in a hospital or surgical setting
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems (such as Athenahealth)
- Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices
- Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control measures
- Experience in ophthalmology anesthesia is preferred but not required
- Skill in IV insertion and management of IV lines
- Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD10 coding, and diagnostic evaluation
