About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Specialist to join our team at Prisma Health. As an essential member of our medical imaging department, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound studies, completing study findings, and mailing results to referring agencies.

This is a full-time position working days with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound studies, complete study findings on proper forms, and mail results to referring agencies as necessary
• Provide clear explanations to patients regarding the ultrasound procedure
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to established practice policies and procedures
• Participate in educational programs and in-service meetings to stay up-to-date on industry developments

Requirements

• Credentialed Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• Associate degree in Radiology or Ultrasound; one year of clinical experience preferred
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of office equipment, including fax and copier machines

Work Environment

This role is based in Greenville OB/GYN at 2063 Greenville Ob/Gyn - Main, where you will work alongside a talented team of healthcare professionals.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
