    SAIC is seeking an IT Event Support Technician located in Pearl City, Hawaii to support USINDOPACOM for the Software, Simulation, System Engineering and Integration (S3I) Directorate, DEVCOM Aviation & Missile Center (AvMC) to support Modeling and Simulation (M&S) for end to end life cycle development and execution, ensuring warfighter readiness and future capabilities are realized.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    • Provide customer IT support in the operation and maintenance of the virtual and physical infrastructure in deployed and on-premises computing environments
    • Responsible for providing operational support across a wide-range of virtualized Microsoft Windows, client systems, and Audio-Visual (AV) services
    • Provide support for a client base of Windows 10 and Office 2016/2019/Office 365 products across physical laptops/desktops and thin/zero clients

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor's and nine (9)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
    • Must be able to install, configure, troubleshoot Cisco and Aruba switches
    • Experience configuring and troubleshooting VPN software
    • Experience with Wireless controllers
    • Must be able to install, configure and troubleshoot ESXi, vSphere and Connection Server

    REQUIRED CERTIFICATION:

    • Must have a current DoD IAT Level II or higher such as CompTIA Security+ CE, CySA+, CASP+, OR CISSP etc.)

    REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

    • Must have an Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
    • Must be a current US Citizen
