    CBTS is hiring a two (2) MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Engineers. This position supports the design, development, testing, implementation, and field support for Manufacturing Execution System (MES) functions. The Automation Engineer coordinates with a diverse group of stakeholders including manufacturing, quality assurance, facility services, quality control, and engineering to design, implement, test, and successfully deliver integrated Manufacturing Execution System solutions to our client's manufacturing site. The Automation Engineer is also responsible for providing field support for Manufacturing Execution System (MES) issues. This role will require an initial 2 week training in Atlanta, GA and then will return home to work remote with 50% travel to sites candidates will cover.

    CBTS is targeting candidates with (A+W Cantor ERP & CIM experience. The role is mostly configuration and testing. We are targeting Junior candidates that have at least 1-3 years of SQL and some light programming or scripting with some ERP exposure. Candidates can be Remote but will have approximately (25)% Travel. There are roughly 14-17 ERP systems being consolidated to a single ERP Branch by Branch. This is a 12+ month contract with potential at the end to go fulltime.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement MES solutions using A+W Cantor ERP and CIM.
    • Work closely with clients and internal teams to gather and document requirements for MES configurations.
    • Facilitate integrations between other business systems, such as Kinaxis, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, and Blue Yonder.
    • Create and implement solutions that comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Query and analyze data from MES to support manufacturing.
    • Conduct troubleshooting and provide support for issues, ensuring minimal disruption to production processes in environments using these MES platforms.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in supporting manufacturing execution systems (MES).
    • Knowledge of Window and Door manufacturing processes is a bonus.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues.
    • Knowledge of PL/SQL for Oracle and T-SQL for Microsoft SQL Server.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
    • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working in a project-based role.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
    • Willingness to travel to manufacturing sites as required.
