The Plant Operator will operate and assist in maintenance of plants at our aggregate quarry in Mount Holly Springs PA.
Adhere to and follow all safety rules and regulations of MSHA/OSHA/DOT and Pennsy Supply, Inc.
Conduct daily safety assignments (area inspections, pre-shifts, JSA's, TRACK, etc.).
Start crushing, screening, conveying and all related equipment.
Daily safety check of the plant.
Ensure proper size and quality of the product.
Maximize production of the product.
Fill in as needed at any position in the quarry and asphalt operation.
Communicate maintenance needs on a daily basis; turn in maintenance requests daily - fill out work orders for maintenance required.
Keep plant area neat and organized.Check oil levels and grease all equipment on the plant as required. Complete daily and weekly checklists.
Verify all equipment is functioning properly.
Maintain crusher settings.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Must submit to a drug screen and criminal background check.
Current driver's license.
Able to work various times during day, night or weekend hours.
Education/Experience
High school Diploma or GED equivalent.
Previous experience perferred.
Computer experience helpful
