- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy interventions to enhance students' participation in academic, social, and vocational activities.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to educational staff on incorporating therapeutic strategies into classroom activities.
- Stay updated on best practices and advancements in occupational therapy to deliver high-quality services.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid Louisiana state license or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to delivering evidence-based, client-centered therapy services.
- Hourly pay rate: $47 per hour
