Job DescriptionAt CCHS, our Acute Care department staffing has 1 – 2 CNA's staffed to assist RN's with patient care. As a Critical Access Hospital, our Nursing Leadership steps up to the plate to assist on the floor, working elbow to elbow with staff to give our community the care they need. We offer hands-on training, as we have Simulation's available for education and skills practice.
Compensation:
The Shift Supervisor in Acute Care helps to ensure care is coordinated and delivered while the unit works together as a team. You will assist with patient care, med passes, and general oversight on the floor as needed. The Shift Supervisor ensures that staff get their breaks and lunches, keeping the team energized. As a member of the Acute Care nursing staff, you will evaluate diagnostic tests, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate provision of safe patient care while finding collaborative solutions. We are looking for an individual who can adapt and learn. Our Acute Care staff works 12-hour shifts throughout the week. The NOC shift is from 6:45PM to 7:15AM.
