    THE ROLE
    Reporting to the Shop Manager, the Shop Supervisorwill be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the shop.

    Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
    Proven computer literacy (familiarity with Office 2000).
    Proven high standards of safety, productivity and process control.
    Business Management as well as proven record of people skills

    Ensuring the most effective utilization of facilities, equipment and manpower.
    Supervising shop personal with an emphasis on open communication.
    Creating and maintaining positive relations with our customers.
    Committing to a safe work environment and safe work practices.
    Monitoring costs on a daily, weekly and monthly basis meeting budget projections.
    Planning and scheduling preventive maintenance and servicing of equipment.
    Maintaining skilled manpower at required levels to meet operating requirements both on an internal and commercial customer basis.
    Providing a safe working environment and on going training of all employees.

    Continuing to expand existing commercial customer base focusing on quality customers who provide us with a good A/R control.


    REQUIREMENTS
    High School Diploma required.
    Technical diploma is an asset.
    Five years experience in a maintenance services environment.
