    JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:


    The Business Process Engineer (BPE) works directly with Business Stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to understand, design, and execute Process-based Automation.

    This includes leading process discovery and design sessions with large groups of SME from disparate levels of the organization.

    The job is also responsible for development of solution documentation, effort management, and solution development using IBM Business Process Management tools:
    testing, roll-out, and production support of solutions

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Performs Process Discovery AnalysisPerforms Business Process Management Automation design, including process flow, Coaching (user interfaces), and application of existing SOA services with BPM Automation.

    Performs management of BPM solution development teams including leading project sponsors and SME from various business perspectives to consensus, coaching participants to achieve effective process design, and serving as the "voice of the customer".Performs existing solution production support and realignment.

    Executes BPM solutions within existing toolsets (IBM Blueworks & Process Designer).Effectively executes Agile Development Methodology utilizing iterative review and modification to fully capture solution requirements.

    Acts as process SME for other technology efforts.

    Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by Senior ManagementIncumbent is required to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local banking and industry related laws and regulations including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act.

    KNOWLEDGE:
    College Degree in Business or Information Technology - Required2 to 3 years of Banking Operations Experience - RequiredExperience using IBM or other process based automation development platform (IBM Blueworks, Process Designer, Integration Designer) - PreferredExperience in an Agile Technology Development environment - PreferredExperienced level of bank operations knowledgeExperienced level of group facilitation knowledgeBasic level of process mapping knowledge using Business Process Management Notation (BPMn)Advanced level of process definition knowledgeESSENTIAL MENTAL &


    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


    Ability to work under stress and meet deadlinesAbility to travel if needed to perform the jobAbility to lift/move/carry approximately 20 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions.
