Health Information Management Coding (Full-time, Day Shift, Hybrid/Remote)

The Coder 2-HIM role involves International Classification of Diseases (ICD) and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) coding, abstracting data from the legal medical record, and assigning diagnosis and procedure codes following official coding guidelines. Quality and accuracy in coding are crucial to comply with regulations and impact multiple aspects of the facility's operations. The Coder 2-HIM also supports student learning and interns in coding, in addition to other necessary duties.
