- Remove dirt, paint, grease, and other built-up material from surfaces
- Set up and operate a blast system
- Load and unload material to and from conveyor of blaster by hand and by forklift
- Stack and unstack material both by hand and use of forklift
- Upkeep area around and housings of the blast conveyor
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of coatings principals (plus)
- Sandblasting experience (plus)
- Experience working with or removing heavy metals (Plus)
- Machine operating (Plus)
- Mechanical aptitude (Plus)
- Forklift experience (Required)
- Monday-Friday
- 7:30am-4:00pm (1st Shift)
- Working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, you will be walking, standing and engaging in movement throughout the day, and occasionally to frequently be required to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Due to a large variety of job duties (both routine and non-routine), certain duties also may involve, a variety of physical activities including bending, lifting, stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms above shoulders and head, standing, working in enclosed areas, climbing stairs or ladders, and operating heavy machinery.
- The noise level in the work environment can vary but noise is usually moderate to high.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as a hard hat, safety glasses, safety gloves, hearing protection, a respirator or dust mask, protective footwear and protective clothing.
- Work may be performed in cold and/or hot temperatures and the environment can be dusty.

Position Summary:
Our company is looking for two (2) Sandblasters to join our 2nd Shift team Qualified applicants should have some training or experience with heavy equipment, grinding tools, and power tools. Applicants should have strong communication skills as they will be working with upstream and downstream processes to efficiently complete tasks both safely and timely, with a major emphasis on organization of material.
